My college friends and I are planning a vacation for spring. I'm sure we will end up in Vegas or Miami, but I have a different idea. Wouldn't it be great to go to New Orleans to volunteer during the day and party at night? I don't think this idea will prevail. And it is not my intention to make anyone feel bad about not spending their vacation building a house. But I know that I can help. What if I were a Katrina victim? I would want help. I would want the media to show what was going on. And the media is doing exactly that, from the NY Times Magazine, Time, Fortune Small Business (bottom) to Anderson Cooper and Oprah. I am proud to work for company that understands that it is a responsibility, not a privilege, to tell the stories of the people who make up this country and the world.
